Hi Tracy it was fun meeting you during family reunion in Auburndale! I want to ask are you doing a camp for ages over 14. Some other girls from my team and I would love to attend a camp with you, but we are 16 years old girls. We live in a small rural town in Mississippi amd its difficult to find a decent camp and affordable. Let me know maybe we can do a fundraiser to come to Houston since it’s not that far away.

I attended tha camp last year and it definately elevated my game to a new level. I’m a starter on my jv team and I can handle the rock. Thanx T-mac for the camp as well as your professional camp coaches. I hope coach Dave is there again because he knows what he is doing and he’s passionate about the game. He taught us alot. My son Priest attended the camp last summer. He is 9 years old. He worked so hard in school this year because I told him that would be the only way he could attend. He studies and works hard everyday. This show the impact and powerful influence you can have on a childs life. Please keep up the good work and keep it affordable for the minorities to be able to afford to send their kids. They need it most. I am a school teacher and you know what we get paid so please keep it affordable.

To all the McGrady haters out there tonight was a demonstartion of TMAC’s worth. He can’t carry the team consistently anymore but he is a solid NBA player. At a level with Shaun Marion or Jason Kidd, not in Lebron’s or Wades league but the next tier down.

I like that T-Mac got a lot catch and shoot J’s. That’s his highest percentage shot when it comes to jumpshots, plus it was him using his teammates to get open, which is always nice to watch. It was also good that he was driving early and often which opened up opportunities for his perimeter game.

I think everyone would like to see the Rockets bring more enthusiasm to start games, it would be life so much easier for everyone involved.

Regarding the comparisons to LeBron and shooting jumpers at the end of the game …

According to NBA.com shot charts, McGrady shoots more jumpers than LeBron in general. I believe this has more to do with ability than anything. LeBron is in his physical prime, and he’s a tank when going to the basket. McGrady doesn’t have anywhere near the same explosiveness, and he’s fragile when taking contact. I don’t think that has much to do with “heart” or “mental toughness”. They are just in different categories, physically. I wouldn’t blame T-Mac for not having LeBron’s body. Incidentally, T-Mac is also a better jump shooter than LeBron.

Finally, in the last 5 minutes of games when the score is close, the numbers (82games.com) show that both players take a higher proportion of jumpers than they do otherwise. So if the argument is that LeBron tries to attack the basket at the end of close games more than usual, that really isn’t the case.

I’d hope T-Mac can be a little more aggressive trying to get into the teeth of the defense (either via his penetration, or with the pass). But if people expect him to play we well as Kobe or LeBron, they are deluding themselves. T-Mac is a very, very good player, but he’s not in their class.

hey t-mac would you agree with the other people when they say you and your cousin are soft. They are saying really bad things about vince carter and they say you will be next.
